Installation and experience design that allows the public to have a first person view on what it may have felt like during the 94 Rwandan Hutu-Tutsi genocide in order to create empathy by way of visual experience.

It was created through the use of a cracked screen inside the door frame and showcased a looping video of a machete carrying man trying to get through the door, in the Rwandan conflict more than one million souls perished, mostly deaths through machetes.

The word cockroach was used by Hutu controlled media to refer to Tutsis before the killings started.
